Section 463.5 - Medical services

Upon oral or written request, medical services shall be provided promptly, within 30 days of the request, to eligible persons.

(a) Medical services means advice and services given to eligible persons desiring medical family-planning services under the medical assistance program from resources of their choice, including licensed family-planning centers, clinics or private physicians.

(b) Medical family-planning services shall include diagnosis, treatment, drugs, supplies, and related counseling which are furnished or prescribed by or under the supervision of a physician.
