Section 433.1 - Scope

This Part establishes standards for the protection of persons with special needs pursuant to article 11 of the Social Services Law. Section 488 of the Social Services Law defines a vulnerable person as a person who, due to physical or cognitive disabilities, or the need for services or placement, is receiving services from a facility or provider agency.
