Section 432.8 - Penalties for failure to report

When a commissioner of social services has reasonable cause to suspect that a person has willfully failed to report a case of suspected child abuse or maltreatment, which such person was required to report pursuant to title 6 of article 6 of the Social Services Law, the commissioner shall report the suspected failure to the district attorney.
