Section 398-10.1 - Requests for fair hearings

An individual or each member of a couple receiving SSP benefits or SSPNA has the right to request an administrative fair hearing to appeal an action of this Office pursuant to section 22 of the Social Services Law and Part 358 of this Title. A request for a fair hearing must be made within 60 days after the office's determination, action, or failure to act about which the individual or member of the couple is complaining.
