Recipients of MA only who were determined disabled under the AABD program (prior to January 1, 1974) will continue to be considered disabled for MA purposes as long as there is no break in their eligibility for the program. Recipients determined disabled prior to January 1, 1974 as a group II, upon review, must have their continuing eligibility determined based on the medical criteria in effect at the time of the initial review.
