An MA applicant or recipient may request a fair hearing if he/she disagrees with a social services official's decision, action or failure to act. A fair hearing is the procedure which an applicant or recipient can use to appeal certain decisions of a social services district to the State Commissioner of Social Services. A complete explanation of how to request a fair hearing, the grounds for requesting a fair hearing, and the fair hearing process is found in Part 358 of this Title.
