Section 300.1 - Deputation to act as authorizing official

(a) Form and content. Deputations to sign public assistance, care, and services authorizations shall contain:

(1) name, title and signature of person deputized;

(2) categories of public assistance, care, or services which he may authorize;

(3) effective date of deputation; and

(4) signature and title of deputizing social services official.

(b) Filing of deputations. For the purpose of establishing the validity of signatures on authorizations or orders, in connection with field audit, each social services official shall maintain a file of all approved deputations. Such file shall be available to local or State fiscal authorities.
