Section 973.4 - Notification of interest in acquisition by others

Any appropriate transportation authority and State and local governmental agency shall indicate its interest in exercising the preferential right of acquisition to the Director, Project Development Bureau, New York State Department of Transportation, Building 4, State Campus, Albany, New York 12232, by the date stipulated in the notification. Failure of an agency or transportation authority to reply by this stipulated date shall be interpreted as indicating that the agency or authority does not wish to exercise the preferential right.
