Section 922.21 - Accident reports

Immediate notice of the following accidents must be sent by telegraph or telephone to the Department of Transportation, Albany, N.Y.:

(a) all explosions of locomotive boilers or steam reservoirs;

(b) all accidents to locomotive boilers or steam reservoirs resulting in death or injury of any person;

(c) all accidents to locomotive boilers in which the crown sheet is ruptured or pulled away from the crown sheet bolts or radial stays, whether personal injuries are sustained or not.
