Section 855.3 - Exceptions

The provisions and requirements of this Part relative to the maintenance and filing of cargo insurance shall not apply:

(a) to trucks used exclusively in the transportation of crushed stone, sand, gravel, mortar, dirt, debris, coal, logs and similar commodities that would not be injured by an accident to the truck;

(b) to contract carriers;

(c) to certificated bus operators authorized to transport packages for compensation as auxiliary to passenger service.
