Guidance:

06A One W14-1 sign placed near the beginning of the dead end portion of the street is generally sufficient for short dead end streets in residential areas and where traffic speeds are low.

Option:

06B On long dead end roads, one or more additional W14-1 signs may be placed before the end of the road.
