Section 154-3.4 - Status determination procedure

(a) The applicant must submit in writing a request for nondivisible load status to the Department of Transportation, Permit Unit, Building 5, Room 311, State Campus, 1220 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12232. The written request must contain an explanation as to why the particular load meets the criteria as established in this Subpart.

(b) The commissioner, or his/her designee(s), shall render a determination of the applicant's request within 10 days after the receipt of the request. This determination shall be final.

(c) Once nondivisible load status is granted, the applicant is eligible for a nondivisible load permit, and any permit therefor shall be issued in accordance with the procedures of this Part.
