Any validly existing permits which were issued under the provisions of former Part 150, or previous number Part 36, are hereby revoked. Any such sign which would qualify for registration under section 150.15 of this Part may be so registered. If any such sign is nonconforming and is a compensable sign under the provisions of the outdoor advertising control statutes or this Part should be registered under the provisions of section 150.15 in order for such sign to be identified as a nonconforming, compensable sign.
