Section 78.29 - Operation of vehicles in the air operations areas restricted

All vehicles operating in the air operations areas of the airport shall be equipped with a functioning two-way radio capable of communicating on the proper aeronautical frequencies and shall obtain a clearance from the airport traffic control tower before entry thereon. Vehicles used on a regular basis in the air operations areas of the airport shall be painted in a manner approved by the airport operator and be equipped with an approved amber rotating or flashing beacon on the roof or upper most point of the vehicle. After obtaining permission of the airport operator, vehicles used on an irregular basis in or upon the airport shall proceed directly to their destination and shall have in operation the flashing parking lights.
