Section 42.5 - Visitor or tourist information and services centers

In connection with development, operation and maintenance agreements executed pursuant to section 42.2 of this Part or otherwise, the department is authorized to enter into agreements, contracts, or leases to provide for the development, operation and/or maintenance of a visitor or tourist information and services center to be leased for operation to the local convention and visitor bureau in connection with the operation of facilities pursuant to this Part. If such convention and visitor bureau does not exist or declines to enter into such an agreement, contract, or lease, the department may otherwise arrange for the provision of such a center.
