Section 160.2 - Designation of records access officer

(a) The records manager in the FOIL Processing Center of the Department of Motor Vehicles, Swan Street Building, Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY 12228, shall be the records access officer.

(b) The records access officer is responsible for maintaining a master index listing by subject matter, records required to be disclosed by article 6 of the Public Officers Law, and for receiving applications on a form prescribed by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, for copies of records or inspection of records, which are required to be disclosed by article 6 of the Public Officers Law and are listed in the departmental master index as available.
