Section 135.3 - Action to be taken by court

Article 21-A does not provide for any action to be taken by a court with respect to the issuance of a restricted license. A court shall continue to perform all functions relating to sentencing, suspension or revocation of a driver's license and the forwarding of a certificate of conviction to the Department of Motor Vehicles upon a conviction in accordance with the provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Law as if article 21-A had not been enacted.
