Section 93.1 - Convictions exempted from the requirement of certification of conviction to the commissioner

(a) Subdivision 6 of section 514 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law provides that the commissioner may exempt the courts from certifying certain convictions for specific violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law or of local laws, ordinances, rules or regulations in relation to traffic to the commissioner.

(b) The following convictions shall not be certified to the commissioner:

(1) Any conviction involving the operation, registration or equipment of a snowmobile or a motorboat.
