Pursuant to section 317 of the Insurance Law, an insurance company that fails to comply with any of the provisions of articles 6 and 8 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law and/or the regulations promulgated by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles pursuant to this Part or Part 32 of this Title, shall be subject to the fines set forth in section 317 of the Insurance Law.
