Section 30.9 - Removal from fleet registration

A registrant shall no longer be eligible for permanent fleet registration for the following reasons:

(a) The registrant does not cooperate with the Department of Motor Vehicles and/or its auditors in the administration of the fleet registration program. A warning will be given the first year, but if the problem or problems persist into the second consecutive year, the registrant's fleet registrations may not be continued. Noncooperation shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, the following:

(1) failure to surrender plates when required;

(2) incorrect or inadequate payment of annual vehicle registration fees for vehicles on which plates were not surrendered by November 30th;

(3) misuse of permanent indicia of registration; and

(4) incorrect or inadequate submission of electronic tapes for registration renewal.

(b) The registrant does not pay fees. This failure shall result in the suspension of all the fleet registrations under that account number.
