Section 16.7 - Lost, stolen, mutilated or destroyed plates

(a) If one plate of a set of special number plates is lost, stolen, mutilated or destroyed, the holder thereof shall, upon request, be issued a duplicate set of special number plates. (Standard series plates shall be issued to the applicant for use until the duplicate set is available.)

(b) If both plates of a set of special number plates are lost, stolen, mutilated or destroyed, such plates shall not be reissued until one year from their last stated expiration date.
