The commissioner of finance or his/her duly authorized representative shall have the right to audit the accuracy of the payments, distributions and remittances made to him/her pursuant to this agreement, and amounts retained therefrom, upon his/her request, but not more than once in each calendar year at a time agreed upon by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and the State Comptroller.
