Article 12-D of the Vehicle and Traffic Law permits the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to allow approved sponsors of internet accident prevention courses to use the internet for the administration and completion of an approved pre-licensing course, which shall be deemed the equivalent of the pre-licensing course required by section 502 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. The pilot program shall continue until June 30, 2025.
