(a) Each Developmental Disabilities Service Office (DDSO) (see glossary) that participates in the YOP is required to offer opportunities and assistance to student interns that will be entering the labor force. On-the-job training is also an integral part of the student's experience. Required topics and activities for the classes and program activities are as follows:
(b) Optional activities may also be provided by the program. However, program supervisors are expected to arrange educational and career activities that are beneficial to all of the student interns in the program. Program supervisors are required to develop and submit a plan for these activities to the YOP program director's office in the OPWDD central office in January and June of each year.
