Part 593 - Medical Assistance Payments For Community Rehabilitation Services Within Residential Programs For Adults And Children And Adolescents
Section 593.3 - Applicability

(a) This Part applies to any provider of service, licensed pursuant to Part 594 or Part 595 of this Title, which proposes to operate a residential program for adults with mental illness and/or children or adolescents with serious emotional disturbance.

(b) This Part does not apply to the operation or proposed operation of a proprietary program.

(c) This Part does not apply to the operation or proposed operation of service-enriched single room occupancy program.

(d) This Part does not apply to the operation or proposed operation of congregate type residential programs for adults of greater than 16 beds.

(e) The standards of reimbursement in section 593.7 of this Part shall be in effect as long as continued Federal financing participation is assured.

(f) This Part does not apply to crisis residence programs.

(g) This Part does not apply to the operation of a community residence for eating disorder integrated treatment (CREDIT) program.
