Part 541 - Defendants Committed To The Custody Of The Commissioner Pursuant To Cpl Section 330.20
Section 541.14 - Patients committed prior to september 1, 1980

Each facility shall, prior to September 1, 1981, apply for either a release order or a retention order, whichever is appropriate, for each patient committed to the custody of the commissioner prior to September 1, 1980 after having been found not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. The procedures for review of applications for release orders or retention orders described in this Part shall be followed prior to such applications.
