Section 510.4 - Definitions

(a) Committee on Open Government means the entity created by the Freedom of Information Law to furnish guidelines and opinions regarding such law and to monitor its application.

(b) Record means any information kept, held, filed, produced or reproduced by, with or for any agency in any physical form whatsoever including, but not limited to reports, statements, examinations, memoranda, opinions, folders, files, books, manuals, pamphlets, forms, papers, designs, drawings, maps, photos, letters, microfilms, computer tapes or discs, rules, regulations or codes.

(c) Trade secret means any material that may consist of, but shall not necessarily be limited to, any formula, pattern, process, procedure, plan, compound, devise, customer list, cost records or compilation of information which is used in one's business that is not published or divulged and which gives an advantage to competitors who do not know, use or have access to such data or information.
