Part 508 - Medical Assistance Rates Of Payment For Assertive Community Treatment Services
Section 508.1 - Background and intent

(a) This Part establishes standards and methods for determining rates of payment made pursuant to title 11 of article 5 of the Social Services Law for assertive community treatment (ACT) services provided to active clients by ACT programs.

(b) To receive payments pursuant to title 11 of article 5 of the Social Services Law, an ACT program must be approved or certified by the Office of Mental Health, and meet the requirements of XIX of the Social Security Act.

(c) Rates of payment established according to these regulations are intended to be adequate to meet the costs of an efficiently and economically operated program.
