Part 343 - Alcohol Awareness Education Program For Youth
Section 343.8 - Evaluation criteria

The following are relevant to the division when determining whether or not to approve an applicant as a certified provider of an alcohol awareness program for youth:

(a) Eligibility qualifications. The division shall consider whether the applicant meets eligibility qualifications in accordance with section 343.5 of this Part;

(b) Required endorsements. The division shall consider:

(1) the endorsement of both the program and the program provider by the local community service board; and

(2) the endorsement of the program by the local judge(s) or magistrate(s).

(c) Learning objectives. The division shall consider the extent to which the program meets the learning objectives of section 343.6 of this Part as detailed in the notice of requirements;

(d) Target audience. The division shall consider the appropriateness of the program for the intended audience.

(e) Budget. The division shall consider the capability of the applicant to provide the program within the submitted budget.

(f) Fees. The division shall consider the appropriateness and adequacy of the proposed fee and provision for fee reductions.

(g) Qualifications of staff. The division shall consider the appropriateness and adequacy of each staff member's qualifications, and the availability of qualified staff.

(h) Such other criteria as the division designates.
