Paragraph 6-a of section 19.07 of the Mental Hygiene Law authorizes the division to establish the alcohol awareness program for youth as a condition for persons who violate sections 65-b or 65-c of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, or as an alternative condition of adjournment in contemplation of dismissal for certain defendants pursuant to subdivision 7 of section 170.55 of the Criminal Procedure Law.
