Part 301 - New York Motorized Wheelchair Arbitration Program Regulations
Section 301.1 - Purpose

(a) These regulations are promulgated pursuant to General Business Law ("GBL") article 32, as added by Chapter 532 of the Laws of 1993. They set forth the procedures for the operation of an alternative arbitration mechanism (the "program") as required by GBL section 670(4).

(b) These regulations are designed to promote the independent, speedy, efficient and fair disposition of disputes concerning defective motorized wheelchairs.
