Section 451.6 - Establishment of safety groups

(a) In order to establish a safety trade group, the proposed group manager will make application in writing, giving a complete description of the type of risks to be included in the group together with the nature of their operations and/or the products that are manufactured, and detailed description of the proposed accident-prevention and claims service.

(b) When an industrial trade association desires to have a group established for its members, such request must be made on the letterhead of the association and signed by a duly authorized officer of the association. A copy of the resolution of the board of directors of the association requesting the establishment of the group must accompany the letter of application, together with a complete description of the type of operations intended to be included in the group and a detailed description of the accident-prevention and claims services. The name and address of the proposed group manager shall be given.
