All rules and procedures of the chair, relating to medical and surgical treatment, the arbitration of medical bills, the arbitration of hospital bills, the practice of podiatry, the practice of chiropractic, and the practice of psychology under the Workers' Compensation Law, are hereby made applicable to the treatment and care of injured ambulance workers under the Volunteer Ambulance Workers' Benefit Law, to the extent that such rules and procedures are not inconsistent with the Volunteer Ambulance Workers' Benefit Law.
