Section 364.1 - Liability of carrier providing hospital, medical or surgical benefits

Under a plan in which the hospital, medical or surgical benefits and cash disability benefits of the employees covered thereunder are separately insured by two or more carriers, the carrier insuring the cash disability benefits shall be solely responsible for the reporting of payrolls and for the payment of assessments as prescribed under sections 214 and 228 of the law with regard to the employees insured under such a plan.
