Part 221 - Limitations Upon And Requirements For The Use Of Credit Information For Personal Lines Insurance
Section 221.1 - Applicability and scope

(a) This Part applies to the use of credit information to underwrite and rate personal lines insurance policies applied for, or renewed, on and after April 23, 2005.

(b) Nothing in this Part or in article 28 shall be construed to alter any requirement or limitation contained in the Insurance Law, including cancellation, non-renewal, and tier placement requirements under Insurance Law, section 2349 or 3425; this Title; or the rules of the New York Automobile Insurance Plan or New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association.
