Every domestic corporation subject to article 43 of the Insurance Law, which after the effective date of this Subpart, invests in or acquires, directly or indirectly, 10 percent or more of the voting securities of any institution or subsequently invests in or acquires additional increments of 10 percent or more of the voting securities of such institution; or acquiries, directly or indirectly, control of any institution shall provide a notice to the superintendent within five days of such investment or acquisition. Such notice shall contain all the information required by form PIR (see Appendix 22, infra), and the filing of form PIR may be used for this purpose.
