Section 81-2.1 - Definitions

(a) Parent corporation means a domestic life insurance company, domestic corporation subject to article 43 of the Insurance Law, or domestic retirement system subject to article 46 of the Insurance Law, that directly or indirectly, controls another institution.

(b) All other terms used herein shall have the same meanings prescribed in section 107 and article 17 of the Insurance Law.
