(a) An authorized foreign controlled insurer or a controlled United States branch of an alien insurer not entered through this State which, pursuant to the laws of its state or organization, incorporation or entry, is required (or whose holding company is required) to register, report or otherwise disclose information substantially equivalent to that required by this Subpart, is exempt from the filing requirements of this Subpart.

(b) The superintendent may require such foreign controlled insurer or controlled United States branch of an alien insurer to submit copies of the material filed with the state of organization, incorporation or entry, supplemented by a schedule or index cross-referencing the material filed to the specific requirements of this Subpart.
