Section 69.0 - Introduction

Section 6503(a)(2) of the New York Insurance Law gives authority to mortgage insurers to insure pools of loans secured by mortgages, deeds of trust, or other instruments constituting a lien or charge on real estate. It has been deemed necessary therefore, to set forth the following rules and guidelines for the writing of such insurance in addition to the requirements of article 65 of the New York Insurance Law where applicable.
