Section 60-4.1 - Definitions

Unless otherwise stated or required in context:
(a) In this Part:
(1)
Group policy means an
insurance policy issued pursuant to Insurance Law section 3458.
(2)
Named insured means,
with respect to a group policy, a peer-to-peer car sharing program
administrator or, with respect to a certificate under the group policy, the
shared vehicle driver or shared vehicle owner to whom a certificate of
insurance is issued under the group policy.
(3)
Owner's policy of liability
insurance means the insurance policy required pursuant to Vehicle and
Traffic Law section 311.
(b) In this Title:
(1) Peer-to-peer car sharing period shall
have the meaning set forth in General Business Law section 901(10).
(2) Peer-to-peer car sharing program
administrator shall have the meaning set forth in General Business Law section
901(3).
(3) Shared vehicle shall
have the meaning set forth in General Business Law section 901(5).
(4) Shared vehicle driver shall have the
meaning set forth in General Business Law section 901(6).
(5) Shared vehicle owner shall have the
meaning set forth in General Business Law section 901(7).
