Part 43 - Individual Life Insurance Market-value Adjustment
Section 43.1 - Purpose

This Part governs:

(a) the use of market-value adjustment formulae in determining cash surrender benefits and policy loan values under individual policies or certificates of life insurance that provide for the crediting of additional amounts pursuant to section 4232 (b) or 4518 of the Insurance Law;

(b) advertising and disclosure relating to such market-value adjustments;

(c) filing requirements for such policies and certificates;

(d) mandatory provisions to be contained in such policies and certificates; and

(e) funding and reserve requirements for such policies and certificates.
