Section 901.12 - Change of operator

(a) Any change in the legal entity authorized to operate a life care community shall require the prior approval of the Life Care Community Council. The applicant shall be required to submit a certificate of authority application which shall be subject to review and approval in the same manner as the original application, provided that continued public need for the community shall be presumed.

(b) The commissioner may waive any part of the application which is not deemed relevant to the change in ownership.
