Part 640 - Procedures For Approval Of The Development Of Comprehensive Health Services And The Establishment Of Such Facilities
Section 640.1 - General provisions

The provisions of this Part shall apply to all persons interested in the development of comprehensive health services, which may include but are not necessarily limited to in-patient hospital and physician care, ambulatory health care and out-patient preventive medical services, and which might require the establishment of hospital facilities. While it is not necessary that such parties comply with the provisions of sections 640.2, 640.3 and 640.4 of this Part in sequence, it is recommended that they do so, although any party capable of meeting the requirements of any such section need not comply with the provisions of any other section in order to obtain the approval provided for in the section pursuant to which application has been made.
