Section 407.14 - Optional services

A Primary Care Hospital (PCH) may offer additional special services, for which it is able to provide appropriate technical and human resources, in order to respond to community need or to assure quality in the delivery of services, Optional services may include but are not limited to ambulatory surgery, inpatient surgery under anesthesia, full range laboratory services, full range imaging services, radiation oncology and nuclear medicine, full range pharmacy services, physical medicine and rehabilitation services, respiratory care services, perinatal services, mental health services, blood bank/transfusion services, or special care services. Such services may only be provided if approved by the Commissioner of Health pursuant to sections 407.2(a) and 407.3(c) of this Part and the applicable provisions of Part 710 of this Title.
