Section 51.6 - Amendment of pleadings

Any party may amend or supplement a pleading at any time prior to the submission of the hearing officer's report to the commissioner, or to the appropriate board or council, by leave of the hearing officer, if there is no substantial prejudice to any other party. Any party may amend or supplement a pleading at any time prior to a hearing committee's final determination and order pursuant to Public Officers Law, section 230(10), by leave of the hearing officer if there is no substantial prejudice to any other party.
