Noncompliance or nonconformance with any provision of this Chapter constitutes a violation punishable on conviction for a first offense by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for not exceeding 15 days, or both; and for a second or subsequent offense by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for not exceeding 15 days, or both.
