Section 1.20 - Interference with placards prohibited

(a) No person shall interfere with or obstruct any health authority in the posting of any placard in accordance with the requirements of the Public Health Law or this Chapter, in or on any place or premises, nor shall any person conceal, mutilate, or remove any such placard, except by direction of the health officer.

(b) In the event of any such placard being concealed, mutilated or torn down, it shall be the duty of the occupant, owner or person in charge of the premises whereon such placard was posted immediately to notify the health officer of such fact.
