Plumbing shall be sized, installed and maintained according to 9 NYCRR Part 902 and 10 NYCRR Part 14. There shall be no cross-connection between the potable water supply and any other system containing:

(a) water of unknown or questionable origin; or

(b) contaminating or polluting substances.
