New York Codes, Rules and Regulations
Title 1 - DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND MARKETS
Chapter IV - Markets
Subchapter B - GRADING OF MAPLE PRODUCTS

Current through Register Vol. 46, No. 12, March 20, 2024

By order of the commissioner, the amended rules and regulations in this Subchapter, filed Oct. 1, 1980, shall take effect on January 1, 1981. However, existing stocks of labeled containers for maple syrup may be used for direct sales to consumers at the place of production or the producer's roadside stand until January 1, 1982. Since the labeling requirements of these revised regulations have already gone into effect under Federal regulations, the voluntary use of maple syrup containers labeled in accordance with these revised New York State regulations is permitted prior to January 1, 1981.
