The Title IV-D agency and its representatives must verify an individual's identity prior to changing the address and phone number in agency records. The failure of a custodial party or non-custodial party to maintain a valid address on file with the Title IV-D agency may result in one of the following, as appropriate for that party: further enforcement actions, closure of the Title IV-D case, or the surrender of support that has been determined to be unclaimed property pursuant to 8.50.132 NMAC.
